Film Synopsis:

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to embark upon a Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon us…

On March 5th, 2013, Firmament Films has officially announced the Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to produce T.C. De Witt’s The Princess Knight as the production company’s first major motion picture release. Production began in the dead cold of Winter in Wisconsin with the filming of one scene from the script. This scene was used to show the world what we had in store for them if we could raise the money. With the support of the eager and willing to make the dream a reality, by March 22nd, they reached their goal amount with three weeks left to go to raise even more funds for the project. Here is a small look at what will become Firmament Film’s first full length film – The Princess Knight. It’s a tale of a princess who believes in dreams, an evil madman and his anger management therapist, a troll who wants to go to knight school, a not-so-giant giant, and many more colorful and silly characters in a Feature Length, ALL PUPPET, Comedic Fantasy Adventure from the award winning Firmament Films.

  • Jeff Bell, the voice of the Troll, is actually the puppeteer of the Wolf.
  • The Not-So-Giant Giant is voiced by Candace Ostler, the original Vesper from the World Premiere stage musical of the Princess Knight. You can hear her Vesper voice on the line, "How's the weather up there?"
  • The designs of the Troll and the Giant are nearly indentical to that of the original Troll and Giant for the Wolrd Premiere stage musical production of The Princess Knight.
