FF NEWS 1/16/14

Hey all, T.C. here for the Firmament Films. I’m sitting at the airport in warm and sunny Los Angeles about to board a flight home to slightly less warm yet no less sunny Wisconsin, and thought I’d take a stab at a quick NEWSLETTER.

>ahem<

First up, I’m doing this crazy flight from 90 degree says to -40 to join the team for more filming of The Princess Knight! We have several weeks of filming lined up, and it is going to be wonderful. We have new set pieces, new characters finally getting screen time, and loads of new capable hands joining the fun.

And you’ll have an opportunity to get a glimpse at all the crazy puppet action with a LIVE BROADCAST of a day of filming. Firmament Films Senior Behind the Scenes Corespondent, Kris Schulz will be arranging a live camera feed of the filming in the coming weeks. You’ll get to see how we do what we do, and get a peek at a scene from the film. Many of the cast and crew will take a moment to say hi, and I’ll do my best to do the same. Follow us on Twitter @FirmamentFilms or LIKE us on facebook for the details of this day long event.

And if you’re not doing anything on January 30th, then why not take a trip to the public library? Hosted by Lake Front Row, Firmament Films will be taking a live “tour” of our filmography, from Dangerous Summers to the Noize. We will also be offering a first-look at a scene from The Princess Knight as well as the World Premiere of Kris Schulz’s Hitchcok inspired filom noir The Roxy Incident. A Q&A with several of the FF team will follow. Learn about how the team began and where they hope to go, and maybe get some insight on how a group of film-loving misfits does what they do. For more info, visit the Daily Page.

Well, that’s all for now. Time to kick back and relax in my seat, and immediately un-kickback and/or relax and board a plane where such things aren’t possible unless you fly first-class, and I’m sure not going to spend my hard earned Rupees on such things. Looking forward to getting more filming done and that much closer to a finished film!

Lates,
T.C.
